An Introduction - Finally

Hi, my name’s Joey.

I live on the sunny island of Singapore which, in case you were curious, was ranked the world’s most expensive city for expats for the fourth year running. I have also lived in the United States – more specifically, in the state of Texas – for five years during my childhood.

I have just graduated from the National University of Singapore, where I was reading law for four years. However, I do not plan on being a lawyer, and am currently exploring alternative career paths. I love to read, write, research, edit and this is where Steemit comes in. I truly hope Steemit becomes mainstream, and that in time to come I would be able to make a living through my Steem posts. I am a rather quiet and reserved person in real life, but that does not mean I do not have strong opinions of my own. I express my thoughts better through the written word. In my spare time I like to cycle, sing, crochet etc. I have a wide variety of interests, particularly in the arts, yet my struggle is pursuing each of them consistently (who can empathize?).
