Welcome to the site. It's refreshing to see a young person who writes well and is open to advice - I always appreciated that in my students.

You seem to have a close relationship with your father so I'd follow his advice. You also seem to have a good head on your shoulders, so I think you'll do well on here. Just be real, and be patient...it may take a while to gain followers but if you have something to contribute, it won't take long. Good luck :)
