# Introduce Yourself

Hello to all the guys at steemit, my name is jose Luis and I am new to the steemit community, born in Venezuela, raised in the Vargas State throughout my life.

With a Portuguese father and a Venezuelan mother, 2 half brothers and one who is sadly not with me, victim of the crime in Venezuela.

During, practically my whole life I suffered from overweight and that affected my life in many ways, both from comments or unfair opinions of the people who surrounded me daily and underestimated my potential saying that I could not do what I knew I was capable, mentalizing that I did not want to be fat anymore and prove that they were all wrong with what they said.

In spite of everything, little by little I was motivated to prove to those people how wrong they were, by going to a gym, also training at home and starving myself to achieve my goal.

Until now I could see the results and know that what I did was worth it no matter what

As a good Venezuelan I like baseball, but my greatest passion is the basketball and even more the shoes used by my favorite players during their seasons as professionals, although some of them are retired and their image and especially their shoes are together with their new models of each season and even being retired.

As in Venezuela there is very little purchasing power, I can not have all the shoes that I would like so much to have, just as I conformed for now with the ones I have. But I do not take the opportunity to bring to different places with my alternative knowledge of the players that are my inspiration, or the history of each model of shoes that have taken each

I hope you see it as a method of entertainment and curiosities because that is my goal, to get the different people of steemit interested in the culture of sneakers.
