    At this point of my life I can say that I am a mother who is willing to do everything for my son and for my 2 teenage stepdaughters, to guide them, to become good people, to be the kindest people even if not the smartest. Being a wife for 5 years with a wonderful husband? We have our ups and downs, but we do believe in "fixing the light bulb rather than buying a new house" thing. I am a better version of myself because of him. I learned to be forgiving, to be patient, to be selfless because that’s how exactly he is. Being a daughter? If I could turn back the time, I should not have given my parents especially my mother heartaches. I still dont have the chance to tell her

because everything she and my father had done was/is for us. I should have shown my appreciation and love for them more when I was with them. I can only tell them how much I love them through video call. Being a friend, well, I used to be everybody’s friend, often went out for group dates but as I get older, I find more comfort and enjoy the company of family at home, watching tv series, movies, cooking for family even I am not a good cook (thank you technology and internet for that) and this, which I just started this month, steemit. I love new wave music, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Beatles, Bee Gees, Abba, my list can go on forever, Don Moen as the inspirational singer (I suggest all of you to check his songs.) I even love music from 1970s to 90s. I love singing too but it seems singing doesn’t like me. I love gardening. I love greens! I love to plant and do homesteading when time permits.

3 things I hate about myself:

    I lack confidence, I have low self-esteem and afraid of rejection. A simple conversation with someone I am not comfortable with makes me nervous. I am not like this during my younger years and I don’t know what happened that I suddenly closed my door to everyone and only let my family and close friends in. I stay in my current job because I am afraid to get out of my comfort zone but despite to all of these, I am still happy with my life.

    I would like to thank @kennyroy for inviting me into this beautiful community. My good old boring days are now behind me. Being a part of steemit family? It’s quite surprising to me to discover I can draw and write. I can write but not good ones though. I am learning without having this nervousness that I have. Sometimes I would grab my laptop and scribble something but once I'm done, my writing feels like it doesn’t have any sense. Thank @surpassinggoogle for this. I am learning to flap my wings.

Bucketlist/wishlist

• Go home to Philippines for good.
• Put up a restaurant.
• Buy a new car for my parents.
• Renovate our ancestral house.
• Start designing for our newly purchased home.
• Tour Japan with whole family.
