Mi nombre es Juan Rondón, soy escritor y un apasionado de diversos temas, entre ellos la literatura, la ciencia y la filosofía.
Comenzaré por compartir un libro que escribí hace unos años. Bodhi Gaya es el título que le asigné a este poemario que expresa una búsqueda espiritual. Tal como su nombre, hace referencia al lugar bajo el que Sidharta Gautama "Buda" comprendió la verdad de la vida y alcanzó la iluminación.
El libro fue publicado en Venezuela, de donde provengo. He querido compartirlo en su idioma original y hacer el ejercicio de traducirlo para las personas de habla inglesa. Publicaré un poema al día. Por favor, disfrútenlo y háganme saber sus impresiones.
Introducing myself
My name is Juan Rondon, I am a writer and passionate about diverse subjects, among them literature, science and philosophy.
I will start by sharing a book I wrote a few years ago. Bodhi Gaya is the title that I assigned to this book of poems that expresses a spiritual search. Just like its name, it refers to the place under which Siddhartha Gautama "Buddha" understood the truth of life and attained enlightenment.
The book was published in Venezuela, where I come from. I wanted to share it in its original language and do the exercise of translating it for English speakers. I will publish one poem per day. Please, enjoy it and let me know your impressions.
