Welcome to crypto, I remember when I first got into this scene it was all pretty overwhelming. There wasn't a site like this with open and accessable discussion back then (there was bitcointalk.. but ... Ugh). Anyway, welcome to steemit. Good decision to come and participate here, I think STEEM is one of the cryptos with a really bright future.
