A/S/L? 12/f/Norway, u?

Two reasons that this image is valid: 1. I've arranged an airplane with a banner and 2. Who steels an image of a sweaty person who just came from a spinning class?

... at least 12/f/Norway was my age/sex/location when I first started using social media. My 11 years older cousin introduced me to mIRC and I could spend hours in different chat rooms, chatting with people from all over the world. Mostly it was conversations like:
 Boy_56: Hey! ASL?
 Karianne_Norway: Hello :) 12/f/Norway, u?
 Boy_56: 56/m/Kansas. Wanna chat?
 Karianne_Norway: Hehehe, well ... Hehehee ...
 Boy_56: Got cam?
 Karianne_Norway left this conversation.
For the record, at this time, I looked something like this:

So, I guess you can say a lot has changed since I was an young, innocent, short-hair-boyish-looking girl exploring the Internet in my cousins basement. I have been around (on social media platforms, that is), – everywhere from Myspace to some Norwegian sites to Tinder (way to squeeze in my relationship status) and of course the obvious ones like Facebook, Instagram and so on. When my friend @susanne tried convincing me to try out Steemit I was quite reticent, because I'm one of those people who are easily addicted. I once found myself playing Candy Crush eight hours straight in the library when I was suppose to write my last Bachelor dissertation ... So my friends forced me to delete it. Between you and me; I did download it again, but accidently deleted it again. As for today I'm a recovered Candy Crush addict.

Anyways, I'm not here to talk about Candy Crush, but I've decided to give Steemit a try, and let's see how addicted I become.

As for mye A/S/L; sex and location haven't changed, but the age is 29. U?
Oh, and for now I look something like this:

Hi Karianne. I remember using IRC back in the day too. Now we have rocket.chat and it's almost like everything has come back around again. I remember the first time my brothers and I logged onto ICQ and pressed random chat, and instantly we were talking to a guy in the Philippines... our parents were astounded. It's funny how quickly things change.

Welcome to Stemit and have a great day

Haha, if my parents only knew who I was talking to ... Things have definitely changed, I think for the better :)
Thank you - and have a good day you too :)

yeah, those were the times back in the day, i could have married hundreds of filipinas

Haha!! Still regretting not giving in on that web cam-chat, for all I know I could have been happily married in Kansas right now ... :)

so that's strange....

Welcome to Steemit! I can recognize myself in the Candy Crush addiction, had to remove it to ;) //Moa from Sweden
