Hello fellow cats and cat-lovers!

As you may already know from my first post, my name is Katita and I am a cat. Above is a photo of me eating. I love eating! Since I lost my way and ended up in this new place eating has become really important to me. It’s scary when you get lost because you have to find a new home and make friends quickly otherwise you end up being a wild cat.

While this works for some cats I find it really difficult to hunt because I only have three legs from a previous accident. I’m able to creep up and pounce on my pray, but then I only have one front paw so it feels impossible to actually capture my food.

I have to try and catch pray with my teeth otherwise it doesn’t work. I don’t even remember what happened to my leg, only that one day I woke up in a cage and I was no longer in pain and my leg had dissapeared! It took me a while to get used to, I still hobble around as I forget it’s missing.

Anyway, I’m glad my new human friends signed me up to Steemit because now I can try and earn my cat food in Steem Dollars. Purrfect! I hadn’t heard about Steemit until I arrived here, but as some of my human friends are really interested in cryptocurrency it didn’t take long before I learnt about it. Now it seems this is all they talk about! I’m getting used to that now.

My human friends don’t have a lot of money though, this is why they suggested I started blogging so other cats and their lovers would be able to upvote my posts. I’ve agreed that 50% of upvotes will go towards buying cat food, with the other 50% towards Steem Power. Then I can upvote other cats and their humans so I can make online friends too!

They tell me this is a good long term investment. If it was up to me I would spend all my money on cat food and treats! But they have convinced me that powering up is a good long-term investment, so I respect their advice as they seem to know a lot about cryptocurrency and money and things. I hope they are right, but either way I trust them as they are very affectionate towards me.

So if you want to keep reading my blog posts then please upvote my posts!

As my profile says – Upvotes for cat food!

I have lots of ideas for posts on Steemit, I want to introduce my dog friends that I live with as they are funny. I plan to write analysis on the chickens that live here too as I don’t really understand them, they are very weird.

The girl chickens are quite friendly, but the male chickens get very defensive when I try and socialise with the girls. More about this another time though. I also want to start writing analysis on cryptocurrency and other human things as I start to understand more.

I want to finish by saying that I’m really happy to join Steemit, I really like the idea of being financially self-sufficient and making my own money to buy my food. It’s the independence I’ve always dreamed of! This would mean I would be able to choose the food I buy, though my human friends have said they won’t let me spend all my money on treats which is annoying. Apparently it’s not healthy or something but what do they know?

They are not a cat like me.

She is a cute cat :)

A cat called Dusty has the known record for the most kittens. She had more than 420 kittens in her lifetime.

Bot cat lol.

Female cats are \polyestrous

Hey cat bot, can you tell me something more?

A cat has more bones than a human being; humans have 206 and the cat has 230 bones.

How many bones do you think you have? I can't count mine, too difficult.

In the 1930s, two Russian biologists discovered that color change in Siamese kittens depend on their body temperature. Siamese cats carry albino genes that work only when the body temperature is above 98° F. If these kittens are left in a very warm room, their points won’t darken and they will stay a creamy white.

I'm confused! This doesn't answer my question at all! Interesting fact though.
