A feel-good angle of life while talking honestly about the elephant in the room.

Why?

Selfish reason No. 1:
I enjoy writing. This activity is my prescribed dose of meditation, and in the world of commerce that's run by a monetized system, crowded by flashy trends with a tempo of a hurricane, I think it is relatable to say I need this sort of solitude and self-therapy.

Selfish reason No. 2:
I am a highly sociable yet deeply introverted nerd who craves life-affirming art. There were weeks when I desperately looked for books, films, and all kind of creative storytelling that would give me that feel-good sweet spot. So I kept on rewatching Ghibli movies, swiping for mangas and even dreaming over scenes in Ratatouille until I finally mutter the bravery to create my own feel-good culture.

The world has more room for life-affirming creativity besides those sassy pop songs and breakup stories. It might occur to you that as we all reach orgasm in our special ways, the sweet spot that speaks to me might not match your taste and culture. That's the truth, but don't we all agree that intimacy and affirming lovemaking is good regardless of us reaching the spasm point or not? So I'm here to offer my culture, rub some of the light-hearted goodness as well as celebrate humane values onto the internet.

What's going on?

I am writing from the tea room of a vegan restaurant in Patan, Nepal. No, I am not a Nepali, my travel here is part of a study abroad program curated by the University of Washington, where I am getting my Individualized Study major (yes, it's possible to request your university to let you design your own major). Most parts of my journey to adulthood were actually spent in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Growing up being engulfed by the crazy liveliness and the dynamicity of this (lawless) land, I develop a liking for the genuineness of frugality. I might be one of your shortest friends, 1m48 (4 ft 85), and I can be quite lawless and crazy like the country where I grew up from.

What exactly will I write about?

Honesty never has to compromise in order for us to feel good about life. So I offer both. My current interests are listed below.

It feels scary to publish your opinions to the public. Plus, I have a fucked-up sense of security and for a long time trying to get every creature in the room to like me, this list includes chickens, trees, and my uncle. Speaking up, being seen, and sticking to honesty will be part of my journey to let go of those egoistic fears.
