Good day and salutations. I think now is a good time to introduce myself and this project called KungFu Christmas. This will be a personal blog during the building of an off grid homesite and I plan to add personal stories, philosophies, DIY how to and opinions on life that I think will help others during an important time in the history of the Earth. When was there not an important time in the history of the Earth?

Kungfu Christmas was originally the title of a movie I was going to produce and direct with a friend of mine who passed away last year. We were both film production professionals and as a side hobby we had taken 2 years of WuShu kungfu. It was fun being the first American students of a special sifu from china who spoke minimal words of English: yes, no and the numbers 1-10. Sifu had previously trained with Jet Li for the Chinese olympics team. I haven't seen sifu since 2005 but he went on to operate a very big kungfu school in San Diego, CA and I hope to see him again some day.

After I stopped taking kungfu, my friend continued his training in the scientific and deadly style called Ving Tsun (wing chun). My friend went on to become a teacher and a forever disciple of The World Ving Tsun Association. I am in touch with my friends sifu and I may take a path into Ving Tsun some day.

My friend and I shared a DIY attitude and a general blaze your own path way of thinking. He was such a DIYer like me! Being Scottish and a miser, he liked to do things for no money. There's too much to write here for now about our friendship but he was one of my best friends and I always thought if I would ever need to hire a bodyguard he would be the one.

This KungFu Christmas project will now be reallocated from the original movie concept to Steemit, Dtube (I will be producing videos) and other platforms to gift wrap what I am currently doing in life, which is living off grid and focusing on things that I believe will be of importance in the future, as well as sharing some of my skills and hobbies. I have lived off grid before from the ages of 0-12. My parents were making veggie burgers in the early 70s before veggie burgers were a thing. I re-read over and over the same copy of the Whole Earth Catalog that was placed in the outhouse. I may bring more stories of how we lived as "those people up on the hill, in the woods, with the outhouse" etc.

I've been working at this particular off grid site since summer of 2017 and living here since Valentine's day 2018 in an Avion airstream trailer and it's going along decently. No air conditioning or running water for a whole summer in Florida has been quite a challenge. I wanted to leave and run away. My Honda Eu2000 generator is a God send. Today I replaced the broken pull cord with some paracord I stockpiled back in the day. The pieces of the 48v solar system are coming together. It's blasphemy seeing the Victron pure sine wave inverter sitting in front of me up on the shelf and having to gas the generator up twice per day. I cannot wait to wire up the 10" x 1/4" thick copper bus bars to tie all of the lithium batteries and components together and turn the inverter on. I plan on even having air conditioning. All off grid.

My back story of particulars and other insights of what this blog is to become is TBD but basically it's outlined above. I consider myself an anarchist (An-Archon; against an outside ruler of oneself) and keep an open mind about things. I credit Mark Passio with teaching me about the realities of Archon-ism, subjective Truth vs Absolute Truth and Natural Law. Mark Passio's work can be found at his website and all over youtube. I recommend his 8 hour presentation on Natural Law

One thing I will finally add is that I always enjoy learning new things but I have a penchant for what I call "dime pieces", dime drops, "10"s. These are the best of the best, for any given current moment, of any particular way of going about a thing. There can be a dime for a style of working on something, a dime for a type of wallet, or shoe, or a dime for how to get rid of a cold. The blog at http://www.kungfuchristmas.com/blog has some dime drops already noted and even the lesser "nickel drop" category, so I will be implementing and sharing more varieties of these "dime and nickel drops" here. Let's drop some dimes! And pick them up! I'm looking forward to learning and sharing information with you all and I hope you join me in the growth of things as we move through very interesting times on this Earth.
