Welcome to Steemit. @steevc and I have been around so let us know if you need help with anything.

I think what sets Steemit apart is that votes from others on the platform are what payouts to your posts (instead of ads or brand sponsorship). Your votes cost you nothing but if you want your votes to be more powerful you have to build up Steem Power or buy it.

Steemit is still under development so if you find a feature you are looking for, shout it out to the community and someone may help you build it!

      Are you trying to clone your Steemit posts to wordpress or the other way around?

          I would also like to be able to add alt image info to images and name them so they can be found on Google images and are useful for SEO. Also don't seem to be able to pin images to Pinterest from Steemit

                I've tried eSteem and it's getting pretty good now. Still under development as well and getting rapidly better.

                    There is no 'official' app but that is the most commonly used one.
