My name is Mike. I live in the United States. I am retired and working part-time. I retired after 32 years from a good paying job.

After I retired I purposely learned to live on a limited fixed income. Why? Work was consuming my life and even though the pay was enough that I never had to budget, I felt I was missing out on opportunities. When life is easy we tend to overlook opportunities and stay on the easy path. Having to struggle a bit makes you look at opportunities differently.

In this blog I will share the opportunities I have come across that help to save money, stretch your dollars, help others, promote happiness, and obtain a bit more fulfillment in your life. I hope that by sharing what I have learned and my experiences, I may inspire you to grab an opportunity, share your experience, and help others.
