Founder / Director of Operations

Former DJ and Engineer, he has been an Award-Winning Music Producer for over two decades, Mr. Beaver is an industry leader in both the corporate broadcast world, and as a technology entrepreneur. On the corporate side, he has worked for XM Satellite Radio as Production Director, NPR as a Syndicated Producer, Virgin Records as an A&R and for Warwick, Baker, O’neill (ad agency) as a Video Editor.

Morgan Johnson

Recording Studio Manager

Morgan joined the Listen Vision family in June 2013. She brings to the company a background in Music and Audio Engineering, Music Performance, Music Education and Songwriting. She has worked in Private Music Instruction (Piano & Voice), Concert Patron Services (Strathmore Music Center) and has over seventeen years of experience in Live Sound Reinforcement.

Sherman A. Moss

Account Manager

Sherman A. Moss is a Virginia raised eclectic personality recently added to the Listen Vision Team. Born in Washington, DC but raised in Virginia, Sherman has always had a passion for music. Recording music and collaborating with Artist from the Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regions of the US since the Age of 15. He has been featured on various Local Virginia Mixtapes and blogs. At the age of 19, he Executive Produced a Music Project that was featured on a Magic Bullet Skateboard Video that featured Professional Skateboarders.

Danny “DanK”

Recording Engineer / Producer

Danny “DanK” landed on this planet in 1980 and has been making music since he was 13 earthling years old. Using an ancient machine called a “tape recorder” and an original Roger Lynn MPC 60, DanK began making noise, influenced heavily by DJ Uneek, Timbaland, Dr. Dre & 90’s R&B. With over 20 years studio experience, Danny DanK has worked with underground legends Copywrite, Weathermen, Jakki da Motamouth to hip hop royalty such as the Wu-Tang Clan, as well as artists all over the country and Planet Earth.

Jean Louis is a trilingual and multicultural music producer and audio engineer from Venezuela and France. He studied audio engineering at one of the most prestigious schools, SAE Institute in Paris, France. He has recorded and peoduced artists from every background and genres such as Reggae, dancehall, hip hop, house, dub, bossa nova, Salsa, merengue, cumbia, Reggaeton just to name some.

Max Powers is a Boston, by way of LA, transplant who brings over 15 years of experience producing and recording to Listen Vision. He has produced songs featuring legacy artists including MC Eiht, Sean Price (R.I.P.), Chubb Rock, Edo G., Big Noyd (Mobb Deep), Big Shug (Gang Starr) and many more.

Mike Phillipz

Broadcast Engineer

Mike Phillipz is a native of Washington, DC. Mike wanted a career in music so he DJ’d at local high schools, colleges and house parties, which led him to start DJ’ing at major clubs such as H2O, Zanzabar, Bar Seven and the famous Republic Gardens, as well as helping build the reputation at Café Asia. As a DJ, Mike Phillipz has spun for the likes of Wale, Tabi Bonney and Kahlil and is the official DJ for Listen Vision’s Engineer/Producer/Artist, G The Mastermind.

Audio Engineer/Producer

Chris “Chef” Belin is truly a one-of-a-kind music producer, born and raised in Maryland. A graduate of The Omega Recording School, he possesses a unique skill set involving a razor sharp precise ear and the ability to adjust to nearly any genre and maximize a song to its fullest potential.

Jacob Moss

Digital Content Manager

Jacob Moss graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Human Geography and French, where he was a DJ for his college radio for four years, going by the name DJ Toast. His interest in Video Journalism led him to briefly work for VICE News in Brooklyn. He is an activist, traveler, photographer, writer, guitarist, and drummer.

Our Vision

We were introduced to steemit by @alao who presented this site as a way to expand our digital presence. We have a show called District Spotlight where we showcase small business, entrepreneurs, classic hip-hop and technology innovations. We will be introducing steemit and cryptocurrencies in general to our viewers live.

Our mission is to engage the community and learn more about what steemit can do for us and what we can do for steemit. We have been made aware of dtube and plan to incorporate it into our online video strategy. We also want to learn more about the active groups, contest and project on steemit and see where they fit into our business model.
