Self Introduction

A blessed day everyone! I’m very happy to be a part of the steemit family, for giving me the opportunity to be able to express my thoughts and feelings. It’s my greatest pleasure to introduce myself.

I am Lorraine Mae Maxino, you can call me princess or ping-ping for short. I’m the youngest and I have a beautiful family of 4 members. Born and raised in Philippines specifically in Davao City. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Holy Cross of Davao College. I passed my Electronics Technician licensure examination last year April. I am a CAD Engineer at OPEC (One’s Philippine Epoch Corporation) a Japanese company. I am currently enrolled in a Japanese class in preparation for my upcoming JLPT N5 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) this upcoming July.

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight” (1 Peter 3:3-4). I am proud to say that I am a woman of God who is an imperfect sinner yet so loved by a perfect sinless God, dedicating my whole life in loving Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. Using the life, He gave me to be in line with His will and purpose. For me, charm is deceitful and beauty is passing but a woman who fears the Lord is worthy to be praised. My life has changed the moment I accepted Christ as my Lord and personal Savior 8 years ago. It was the best life changing decision I ever made in my whole entire life. I already have this eternal security in Heaven being so fearless already in facing death anytime and I have this big heart in serving for His ministry here on earth, using the spiritual gifts He gave me, especially in touching the lives of others, sharing this light for all who are still living in the dark and hopeless. Making my life a living testimony all for God’s glory, so that others may see Christ living in me. I love conducting Bible studies and evangelizing. I’m a Sunday school teacher in our church since when I was still 16 years old, being actively involved in children’s ministry and church activities same with my family. I really love sharing His Word which is the good news of salvation to everyone. Christ is all I have in this fallen world and He is my everything, my all in one. I’m just so blessed that I was raised in a Christian family who motivated me in growing in God’s love and presence every day. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Making others laugh is one of the best talents that God has given me. I have this joker personality and very energetic aura that is very contagious, that most of the people whom I encountered with will never failed to smile and laugh. I always love to smile and laugh all the time as if it’s already my last day here on earth, they always described me as the most hyper girl, special child, an ice breaker and the worse one is the metal breaker as they haha! Even if I’m the happiest girl you’ll ever met, I also have this very fragile heart. I’m a very soft-hearted person, I easily get hurt and when I get depressed, I used to lock up myself inside my room crying all alone in the darkness, being so silent all the time and will not talk to anyone. Well, that’s the real me. Those people around me will easily get noticed that I’m not okay because I am known to be the happy one, but with God’s grace and strength I may not be perfect but I am enduring.

Dancing is really my passion. I started to engaged with this when I was still 7 years old. I find happiness in dancing in which I can express my unspoken feelings with every move that I make. Hip hop, modern, interpretative or any dance. I used to join dance competitions and being actively involved in dance groups. Moreover, I also love playing flute since my 4th grade in elementary. I was actively involved in flute ensemble club, being the president of that organization and also joining some competitions. I also love playing a guitar, ukulele and violin. I have this deep interest when it comes to musical instruments and music. Furthermore, drawing and painting are my stress relievers. I used to do it when I’m bored, stressed and sad.

I’m a pet lover. I really love animals, most especially cats and dogs. When I was still a kid, I have my little hamster, white mice, aquarium fishes, parrot, chicken, pig, cats and dogs in our house. I just love them so much as if they are my children hahaha! One of my major weakness is a cockroach. They are so disgusting and I hate them so much. It makes me so frightened, shout out loud like a crazy woman running from everywhere just to stay away from that feeling like a butterfly winged insect. I don’t even have the guts to kill it nor look at it. I also hate shrimps, bees, butterflies, grasshoppers, dragon flies or let’s just say any insect that looks like a cockroach.

And lastly,
I am the daughter of a King, who is not moved by the world. For my God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear because I am His ❤
