I have been told severally by Steemit and registered but didn't get the final confirmation. I was told to be patient but later lost interest. Luckily, I saw a video of @imbigdee on WhatsApp doing a #seven77 challenge by @nathanmars and I messaged him. He helped me to get an account under 30minues and now, I am here. Thank you Big Dee.
INTRODUCTION
Yay!! I'm so excited to be here FINALLY!!! I am Awoyemi Oluwamayowa (you can call me Lydop or Mayor).
I am a Thespian (Theatre Arts) by initiation, a school teacher, an event compere by hobby and the founder of The Unfettered's Oasis Group (a group formed with the aim of addressing social and psychological issues and proffering practical solutions).
I organized a programme recently tagged Youths Against Depression and it was successful. Two guest speakers graced the occasion and shared their knowledge with over 70 people in attendance. It feels good to touch lives of people especially, the young ones. No matter what people say or what the nations look like now, we are the leaders of tomorrow. The mantle of leadership is already with us, we should use judiciously.
I'm so happy to be a part of this large community of people and I look forward to leveraging on this medium to meet and reach out to a larger audience. I will contribute to the growth of this platform by bringing in more people to connect with. My niche is life and sometimes, I can delve into poetry, short story and motivational posts - we all love to be motivated. Thanks Steemit for having me here finally.
