Welcome to steemit @manossolidarias. I respect associative work, especially volunteering because it is a voluntary choice based on personal motivations and options, which are very diverse for example : to be useful to society, to defend a just cause, to occupy one's free time, to socialize, to acquire a skill etc ... keep going.
