Hello! My name is LOVE!

I appreciate the little things. I'm a life-liver and love giver, and prolly a mermaid.

My name is May Anne Love, but my friends call me 'May' or 'May Anne.' I was recently invited by one of my friends to sign up and join the STEEMIT community, and I must say I am very excited!

I'm currently a Training Supervisor for Training and Development, an English Teacher to Chinese students, and a writer on the side. While my office-based jobs aren't keeping me busy, I listen to my favorite songs for the week over and over again until I get really tired of them, and I like watching chick-flicks and documentaries. As for writing, you could say it's always been my first love.

Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to be a writer. I started writing on my diaries, my notebooks, or any piece of paper I could get my hands on if something just randomly came up. I even came up with my own Facebook self-help page, full of things I address to myself, but people say they also relate to. Having graduated with a degree in Mass Communications, I've also had my fair share of experiences in the media landscape which started with being a member and eventually Editor-in-Chief of the school paper. I've also written for online news websites, and local publications.

Although I have been exposed to different writing styles, I've grown to learn that the true essence of being a writer is writing what they know, hear, learn, long for, live for, and experience in general. Hopefully, Steemit will be a platform where I can write freely about life, love, adventure and the many things I've learned throughout.

The great writer Ernest M. Hemingway said, "All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.' So finally I would write one true sentence, and then go on from there." I plan to write every day starting with one true sentence, and I'll make every word count.

To write means to let people into your life, your mind, your world. This is me... letting readers in.
