Hi Alice. Even thou I am way past college and do not understand fully your culture, I feel you a little. I have girlfriend who is still in college. Problem is, she hates it and she knows it will not give her much. I showed her, how much she can do without a college. That college you hate is just waist of time. She gets it but... her family made her to promise that she will finish it. Fact that she has to finish it, interferes with our lives and delays our life plans, but as she says, it would break heart of her grandmother, if she quits now. So I get how family can make you feel bad when it comes to this subject. But she said, that if she knew me back when she was about to start, she would not start the college at all, at least not the one she hates.
In my opinion, if you really want to be doctor, lawyer or anything that requires college degree, go ahead and get it. But college just to be able to tell people that you have it, is waist of your life, and on this earth we have only one life. You cannot get back your time. It is your life, not your friends or families. So, although I know is hard, try to evaluate what is more important to you - your real dreams or dreams of your family and what they think about you. If you think college is something you don't want to do, start doing something you love and show everybody, that you can be more successful than those who have college. That you can be successful quicker than them, because you will not waist your years just to study things that are 90% unnecessary, drink and party. Instead, you can work on your REAL dreams, not dreams created by your family. I quit college after 2 years. And in life, I had my ups and downs, but in general was doing better than 90% of my friends who finished colleges and are working in jobs they hate, complaining about the boss. But that is all they know how to do, so they do it. There is so much stuff you can learn on your own now, with all the knowledge available, that college is the last thing people should really think about these days.
Hope these are not to hard words for you, but that is what many successful people think, and I agree with that.
Good luck to you, whatever you do.

I have missed college 😞
I am extremely thankful for the advice from you! You make me feel more motivated. Actually, I did not enjoy college, but my family and everyone impose me on learning. Those who study in my country, when they graduated, still have to work for a boss. Although he just graduated And no university degree,. I have also advised my family very much that college is not everything. But perhaps the backward mind of the old was too deep in my family. There are those who are studying in college, and I know that college is so boring, it's really useless and graduates are still unemployed. The person who is learning is feeling want to quit, the person who is not learning again wants to learn. Actually, there are many people who are studying at university, but they are not able to finish due to pressure, tuition fees. I think I will have to struggle with my family for a long time. Your story gives me more confidence in life. Thank you very much ! 🤝🤗
