Hi all,
Stumbled upon Steemit after being told about it by a friend and after a lurking quite a bit I thought I'd sign up and take the time to introduce myself before posting elsewhere on this site.
I'm 23 year old Irish Android developer currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Currently working as the sole Android developer for a golf tech firm called Shot Scope based in Edinburgh where I've been working since June 2016, which was immediately after I finished all of my exams / assignments at Ulster University, I hadn't actually officially graduated when I first started working there.
There seems to be a wide range of topics on Steemit so I look forward to checking out a wide range of discussions and getting involved with them. Recently I've started getting interested in cryptocurrency so I'm keen to check out the crypto and android discussions within this community and maybe getting involved in them initially before branching out to other communities (surely there has to be a football (soccer) community here?!)

Welcome Mark, you are in the right place. Steemit is an awesome network of smart people and with the Steem incentives, it seems like it leads to a much higher quality of content than on other sites... it's not perfect, but it's pretty awesome.
