Hello Steemit, from South Australia growing mushrooms.

Hi Wayne. Great to have you onboard, mate.
I got the Adelaide crew together 3 months ago and we've grown heaps since then, so we've decided to get together monthly.
Every last Thursday of the month, the Mallsballers are meeting up in the beer garden at the Jade Monkey in the city, from 6pm.
First/next one is only a couple of days away; and turnout's looking fantastic. Be great to see you there.

Its great to know that there is a steemit community in Adelaide that actively gets together.
I clicked your link and read the post. Looks like your community has fun at parks.
It would be great to talk to someone face to face about steemit. I am still learning it but it looks like re-learning HTML would be helpful to make the posts look good (Old skool).

Please checkout my brother in law @jarradlevi. He is a really cool guy that makes realistic silicon masks and has an Adelaide band called iHeart.

I am still trying to get my head around this platform. I have never hash tagged before so I don't really know what I am doing.

I also don't fully understand how the voting system work. Who should I upvote and why is this about percentage vote why not 100% vote?

I was part of the team that did the landscaping at Oaklands park. I did the planting of the wetlands there. It is close to my house so maybe a meetup there would be nice.
Thanks @mattclarke

That's some fantastic landscaping. Well done.
We have a couple of Adelaide homesteaders around. @minismallholding is very active, as is @ligayagardener.
Don't worry too much about voting percentage. Until you have 500SP, all of your votes will be at 100%.
Over 500SP, your vote is worth a bit more, so the system gives you a slider bar to decrease down from 100% if you want to vote for more posts/comments.
I'll reach out to Jared now.
Thanks for the tip :)

Your voting strength is limited because there's only so much daily mined crypto to give out each day. The more Steem Power a person has in their account, the more of the daily amount they can give out. Your voting strength recovers about 20% a day, so most people suggest you keep your voting power above 80% day to day. People should try to vote only on things they want to support since their voting power is limited. There's more about this in the information I'll share in my main reply...
