Hi,
Eager to dive into the world of Steem and, hopefully, contribute to the community in a way that broadens and deepens that community.
A little about myself: in my early working life I was a ballet dancer and then a stage manager, both careers based in New York City. After each of those careers reached their ‘sell by’ date I joined the real world working in the offices of a money management company. Fast forward through jobs in customer support, product specialist, product management and more, I now find myself working at Gust as the editor Digital.NYC, New York City’s official hub for the tech and startup scene. We partner with the Mayor’s office, the NYC Economic Development Corporation and over a dozen tech and media companies. Digital.NYC is the central location for all the information resources that support the tech and startup community in New York City.
I spent much of my time attending tech events and meeting with companies in this eco-system - not a bad gig at all. In my limited down time I roam the streets of NYC with my wife, kayak on the Hudson and sing in chorus. If you're NYC based and working in the tech / startup world please feel free to contact me.
