Thank you for sharing Amanda. The father of my amazing girlfriend's two children is bi-polar. I will follow you to maybe gain more insight into what it's like. I kinda see it from the outsider's view as you can imagine. I have lost patience many times with him. Many many many times.
But he has sought help recently and got good meds and financial help from the government. And he has made respectable strides. So maybe you sharing your story can help me understand him better.
I'll be honest I have a copy and paste greeting that I do for new members. But I think for this one I'll just leave it be and say welcome, glad you are here. Followed and upvoted!
So glad to hear from you. I know for those dealing with someone with bipolar it can be very frustrating and confusing, especially when it comes to the dynamic between parent and child. I imagine you have lost patience with him, there is only so much you can deal with sometimes. My husband has understandably lost his with me many many times as well. It is commendable that you are open to listening to the other perspective. That is so important for your girlfriend and especially the children. Whether you realize ti or not, that will be a tremendous help for them too.
Thank you so much for the genuine welcome! Followed back!
