Hi, I am new on Steemit. I make my living translating novels into German. I like to take fotos when I travel. I took this foto in the new Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, where we went to a Jazz-concert.

Ich wohne eigentlich am Westzipfel: In bzw. bei Aachen. Hamburg war ein kurzer Besuch, Elbphilharmonie und ein Spaziergang von der Hafenstadt zur Binnenalster. Ich kenne Hamburg nicht gut, mag es aber sehr.

Es ist sehr schwer, bei einem Verlag einen Fuß in die Tür zu bekommen. Ohne Kontakte und einschlägige Berufserfahrungen geht eigentlich nichts. Am leichtesten dürfte es Lektoren und Autoren gelingen. Die Honorare sind nicht besonders gut, aber man kann passabel davon leben.

Ich hab' erst jetzt deinen Post entdeckt. Schön, dass du jetzt auch aktiv auf Steemit mitwirkst! Gerade hochqualitative längere Posts kommen hier gut an, auch auf #deutsch.
Die Elbphilharomonie sieht ja wirklich beeindruckend aus! Ich habe sie damals vor der Fertigstellung nur im Miniatur-Wunderland von innen bewundern können, das war aber auch schon ziemlich beeindruckend!
