Hello World!

Hi Steemit community! Here is my #introduceyourself
My name is Michaela, I'm a 20 year old girl living in the city just trying to make it work. LOL. I work a lot. But, when I'm not at work, I'm practicing yoga, trying out a new restaurant to eat at with my boyfriend, or hiking one of the beautiful mountains/ trails that we have here in British Columbia. To be quite honest, I don't have a whole lot to offer.. I don't have a degree, I don't have a crazy wicked talent, and I don't travel. But I do have a great sense of humour, and a lot of interesting thoughts and experiences that I'd love to share and I hope this platform will have a positive effect on me, and on you!

My girlfriend, Gemelle @Steemy-pile and her husband, Robby @robmeister introduced me to this site and I recently went with them (and their ADORABLE new born baby boy, who I could kiss and love on forever) to a #restaurant called Boy With A Knife, or BWAK. Which I actually thought was a Japanese word but apparently not. Haha. We ordered 3 different kinds of their signature wings and OH. MY. WORD. they were #LIFECHANGING. Black Pepper wings were my favorite. They tasted like a honey garlic with a little bit of kick. I would consider myself a chicken wing connoisseur because I love wings and could eat them daily.. though my body would disagree, my heart tells me YES. Anyways, I'm already craving them again and am going to drag my boyfriend back there to go with me and indulge. If you live in the Vancouver area, CHECK. THEM. OUT!!

PS - I can't take a picture of me holding up the date I joined Steemit because I'm at work, but for now.. here's a picture of me enjoying the roses my sweet boyfriend bought for me a couple of weeks back. Because who doesn't love flowers?
