Hello, Steemit. I've found you! Just me, saying hi.

Welcome, Eliot. What kind of writing is your speciality? Or are you quite diverse?

I used to do a lot of creative writing when I was younger, but don't devote nearly so much time to it now. I still consider it a hobby, though, and I love the feeling when I'm deep in writing something, where it feels like my consciousness has gone to another place and something/someone else is channelling the words into my mind.

Hey Michelle.

I work a lot in the ski industry (unsurprisingly, travel guides and the like) but have branched out to other sectors. I spend most of my time content writing and working on marketing projects. Pays some bills that way. I would love to spend more time focusing on comedy pieces, one day soon maybe. I keep planning to get a book together.

Whatever I work on there is still a great feeling of accomplishment when publishing! Have you written much recently? I'd love to know more about where people and yourself find inspiration for writing?

I haven't written a great deal lately, sadly - certainly not fiction-wise. I still try, occasionally, but most of my ideas seem to meander off nowhere and then fizzle out.

One thing I do quite regularly is blog for my hometown's amateur dramatics group, of which I'm a member, so naturally write about acting, theatre, the arts, etc.

I'm also very interested in mysticism and the occult, which sometimes inspires me to put my thoughts onto paper (or the computer screen.) Sometimes in a philosophical kind of way, sometimes in a more imaginative form.
