Hello New Steemian Friends. Welcome to the community! First thing for you to do is familiarise yourselves with Steemit and how best to use the resources at hand.
There are some useful posts (even more useful than this one!). Please note that things change all the time so stay on top of all the latest news using all the info on the site. I'm still learning all the time!
But that is not really what I would like to say to you today. There are better and more qualified people on here to help you with the ins and outs of Steemit and the community.
What I would like to say is that you will find that this community is one where we show respect for each other. And we maintain that respect. Yes, it’s challenging as there are many many different people on Steemit with different ideas, BUT THAT IS A GREAT THING!! It means we can learn from each other and change our ideas of the world we live in.
Let’s uphold our differences as sacred, so that we do not end as just another homogenous community, but one that is always vibrant and exciting. We’ve seen what other community sites (eg. Facebook) have become and we don’t want that here.
Be active in the community and remember that you are here to add value and earn at the same time! Yes…… EARN AT THE SAME TIME!! AND LEARN AT THE SAME TIME!
