Minimeow dice "Hola" || Minimeow says "Hi"

[ESP] ¡Hola mundo!

Mi nombre es Karla, tengo veinte años (próximamente veintiuno pero, ¿quién cuenta?) y soy de Venezuela. Comencé mis estudios universitarios en ingeniería de la computación en la Universidad Simón Bolívar hace cuatro años. Actualmente, por una u otra razón, tomé la decisión de dedicarme netamente a cumplir mi sueño de ser diseñador gráfico. Estoy, como quien dice, dando pasitos de bebé en este tema, dejando mi zona de confort con una gran convicción de que este cambio le dará un buen giro a mi vida.

Soy una escritora aficionada que adora expresar todos los pensamientos que transitan su alocada mente con el poder de la palabra escrita. Nunca he sido buena (ni me siento cómoda) expresando verbalmente lo que pienso; no obstante, todas estas ideas parecen plantearse de la manera correcta cuando se trata de redactarlas en el papel. Pese a esto, no suelo compartir lo que escribo con personas ajenas a mi círculo de amigos más cercanos y, es aquí donde los cambios que he estado atravesando, y Steemit, hacen su entrada en mi historia.

Todo tipo de ideas han estado pululando en mi cabeza en los últimos meses y he lidiado con diferentes estados de ánimo en el proceso; tomar una decisión no es fácil y la tarea se complica cuando se trata de una que te remitirá a una nueva ruta para tu futuro. No es algo que se deba tomar a la ligera. La cosa es, que cada reto y cada meta se terminó convirtiendo en la excusa perfecta para comenzar un blog, resultó ser ese empujoncito que necesitaba para tomar el riesgo y compartir mi experiencia con otros y, ¿qué mejor manera de hacerlo que con esta innovadora plataforma? Su dinamismo y libertad a la hora de crear y consumir contenido fueron factores que me atraparon al instante.

Nunca hace daño probar algo nuevo, ¿cierto? En varias oportunidades he escuchado o leído esta frase de Paul Arden que dice (traduciendo del inglés): es mejor que te arrepientas de lo que hiciste que de lo que no hiciste y esto es algo que quiero fervientemente implementar en mi vida. Adicionalmente, me gustaría mucho que éste proyecto llegue a todas esas personas que hayan pasado o estén pasando por esto y, positivamente, les ayude de algún modo y, así, no se rindan a medio camino.

My name is Karla, I'm twenty years old (soon to be twenty one but, who counts?) and I’m from Venezuela. I started my university studies in computation engineer at Simón Bolívar University four years ago. Nowadays, for one reason or another, I took the decision to dedicate myself fully in making my dream of being a graphic designer come true. I’m, like some may say, taking baby steps in this, leaving behind my comfort zone with a big conviction that this change will make a positive turn in my life.

I’m an amateur writer who enjoys to express all her crazy thoughts through the power of the written word. I’ve never been so good (or comfortable for that matter) with expressing verbally what’s going through my mind, but all these ideas seem to get all together pretty well when I have to write them down on the paper. Nevertheless, I’m not used to share my works outside of my closest friends circle and, here is where all these changes that I’m going through, and Steemit, take the spotlight in my tale:

All kind of ideas have been on my mind on these past few months and I have dealt with differents moods in the process. Taking a decision is not so easy and it’s even worse when it comes to one that is meant to change the road of your future. It’s not something that we should take lightly. The thing is, all these challenges and goals turn themselves into the perfect excuse to start a blog, they’re like the little push that I needed to take the risk and share my experience with others. I don’t see a better way to do it than with this innovative platform that has its great dynamism and freedom when it comes to create and consume new content, things that caught my eye immediately.

There’s no harm in trying it out, right? I’ve seen and heard a lot this quote from Paul Arden which states that it’s better to regret what you have done than what you haven’t and this is something I’m trying to implement on a daily basis. Also, I’d like a lot if this project reaches those that have been through this or are dealing with it at the moment. Positively, it’d help them somehow so they won’t give up in the middle.
