Discovering a new world called "Steemit" - My First Post!

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago

Congratulations! Your introduction post has been selected for my special manual curation today!

It has received an upvote, and a resteem to help give you a boost. I'm following you now, too!

My curation focus is on fairly new Steemit users who don't speak English as a first or primary language, but who are writing and posting in English.

I search new posts in the #introducemyself and #introduceyourself tags daily, and try to dedicate at least 40% of my article curation to new Steemit members who meet the above focus criteria.

My goal is to discover and curate an average of 4 new Steemit users per day.

I follow each person I curate because it is very encouraging for a new member to see their following grow.

At least 40% of my daily curation is dedicated to upvoting, resteeming and commenting on new articles posted by the Steemit users I am following.

If you have written an article that you think is particularly good, please send me the link to it via Direct Message in Steemit.chat (look near the bottom of the Steemit main menu for the chat link.) There is no cost for this curation.

I also curate comments from all Steemit users. I look to reward comments and replies which stand out as having thoughtful insight, offer benefit to the community at large and reflect the unique personality of the commenter.

I aim to keep my voting strength between 90-100%, and give a 100% upvote whenever possible, voting 10-12 times per day.

I’m calling the @originalworks bot to verify this article for you. Every time you write an original article you should call the bot. It is a great bot service that boosts your article for free.

I’ve written an article that you will find useful as you get started on Steemit, and am including a link here for you.

I’m looking forward to reading more from you, @gpwar. I am a martial artist, too! I feel the same way you do about it. I hope your knee problems will not prevent you from continuing to train as you get to the higher levels.

Cheers!

If the first language is not English but I try to learn because it is very important for communication nowadays.

I am encouraged by your comment and more to know that he is also a martial artist I would like to read one of his experiences and which art he practices, I hope he is in communication with you through chat.

again thank you very much for your support I hope to learn from your experiences as well as you can learn from mine.

You're welcome, @gpwar! I replied to your message in chat, and maybe you have not seen it yet, so go check your chat messages from me.

I have not written any martial arts related articles, but others have asked, so I ought to do it sometime. Maybe this summer.

I teach the Filipino martial art of Eskrima. My teacher was Mangisursuro Mike Inay in California. He unfortunately passed away many years ago. You can read more about my Eskrima on my website: www.HeartlandEskrimaSchool.com

Your English language skills will certainly improve as you read and write in English here on Steemit. Just give it a try, and don't be afraid of failure.

Cheers!
@mitneb

@mitneb will be visiting your page, and I would like to see one of your history in that martial art
My regards, brother!

Sounds good, @gpwar. I will be sure to let you know when I get the article written.
Cheers!
