Introducing How-To Grandma. A little gray hair only adds to the charm.

Hello Steemit Folks! As I look around the steemit community, I believe I am old enough to be most members' mom...and maybe even grandma to a few!

That just means I've lived long enough to know lots of (useless/useful) stuff. :)

I'd like to use this platform to share some of what I have learned. And you can determine if it falls under useful or useless.

I am an avid app user, and in my welcome post, I'd like to share some of my favorite apps to make or save money. Yep, even in retirement I'm pinching pennies.

1. FeaturePoints (featurepoints.com). With featurepoints you make money by downloading apps to your phone and trying them out. If you like them, you can continue to use them, of course, but if you don't, you can delete them. You gain points and can redeem them for paypal cash or gift cards.
   

2. Ibotta (ibotta.com). Earn cash back on apparel, cosmetics, mobile apps and more. No points. Just transfer you cash by paypal, venmo or giftcards.

3. Fusioncash (fusioncash.net) Get $5 just for signing up. Watch videos, complete surveys, play games, do tasks, refer others.

4. Decluttr (decluttr.com) Transform your smartphone into a barcode scanner and get an instant value for your CDs, DVD, Games, Blu-Rays & Books! You can sell Tech at the same time too.
   

5. Trim (asktrim.com) Trim will analyze your accounts to find recurring subscriptions and determine where you can save more money. This is a great way to get rid of subscriptions that you are no longer using.

And with all of these you can earn more by referring others.

So there you have it. A few bucks here and a few bucks there, and pretty soon you have dinner paid for.

Oh, and this is the real me, although most days I feel more like the caricature....mom to two, grandma to 3 and counting.... sorry for the blur, my hands are no longer steady. But on the positive side, you can hardly see the gray!
