@ilovefood, great post! For someone, who left the family behind travelled to a distant country for further education, started experiencing an entire different culture. When I visited home for holidays after some years being away, it hits me - I had an identity crisis just like you, I found myself asking the question "Where do I belong". On a flip side, there always seems to be some price to be paid. The quote from Henry David Thoreau puts it best.
