Robot by day, trying to be human by night. Here's my story.

Even before I was born, my parents already called me Mary Queen. Amora as my surname. They took it after my older brother's name, King Joseph. The day I was born, the nurses wept their tears of joy for they know they'll never find a baby as marvelous as me. Now, I am 22 years alive and still figuring things about life.

Fortunately, life gave me the opportunity to work right after graduating college with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. The universe then tasked me to be a Software Developer in some IT company in the Philippines. So my life began again.

By day, I become a robot.

• With endurance, perseverance and a lot of patience, I write code for mighty clients that I don't even see and I haven't even personally met.
• Working hours and hours just to deliver commitments I uttered to my clients.

By night, I try to be a human.

• After consuming 8 hours minimum of work for the whole day, I'm now given the chance to taste freedom.
• By this time, I get to do my hobbies and all the other activities which helps me remember that I am still a human with large eyebags and a stressed face.

Your work will eat your mind and drain your soul.

But I strongly disagree with that. I mean, you can enjoy life even when working. It's just a matter of handling stress at its best. Thank God, He gave me the power to do multi-tasking wherein I can enjoy stuff while at work. For instance;

• I can write poems while waiting for a client meeting.
• I can eat my favorite pudding while composing my codes.
• During weekends, traveling is my thing.

Because of my love for writing poems and random stuff, I got interested in joining Steemit. I want to share my thoughts to my fellow Steemians. I am also looking forward to learn new interesting stuff from them too. I find Steemit as one of the many ways to destress. Steemit will now become one of my favorite hobby. Hoping to do a lot of fun here. Hoorayy!
