I am sharing an amazing story about a good friend of mine who's eager to succeed in life.

By posting his story and his vlogs, I want to show him how great the Steemit Community is.

The amount of succes he will accomplish, In my eyes, is humungous.

Anyways, enough of this.

Here is his story!

My Story, in short

I’m Louis De Keyser, started a company at 18 in building Tiny Houses and i'am moving to New York City.

2 years ago (2015) is where I usually start my story. Back then I just turned 17 and I loved the United States. I had been there once but knew that I one day wanted to live there. So on April 1st 2015 I had the opportunity to go to California for the next 3 months. I was homeschooled and had my degree in office/ office administration and data management in my pocket. The people I stayed with where people I met true mutual friends of my parents and they where setting up a project for youngsters in CA. They bought a house there a few months before together with a Chinese and British couple. They asked my to, in exchange of my stay, build a Tiny House for them. Carpentry had been my hobby since I was 9 years old but building a structure this size was totally new for me. I decided to go for it.

After these 3 months I came back to Belgium where I live (for now) and started building my own Tiny house. In between I did attend University but that is a hole other story. I also started a Facebook page to show the progress I was making to the world.

Now this was the start of my company, Tiny House Belgium. There was such a big interest that I decided to quit University and start a business. I had massive media coverage as well as a lot of interested people. I also started a video blog to show off our progress and people loved it. But I didn’t. The days that I was so busy working and building where not bad. But once I had the time to think the USA always popped up in my mind. In particular New York City. This was the first place I had ever visited and it kept calling me back.

So in April this year (2017) I decided to call it quits and leave other people to take over my company and I am now doing everything I can to move to New York City. This isn’t an easy project but the last few months have been the most interesting and rewarding months in my life. Just that feeling of being on your own path is unbeatable. For the next months I’m sharing my story, experiences and mostly ideas on how I’m working my way true life. To inspire and to say to you:
