From the narrow streets, alleys, and tunnels of downtown Manhattan, to the elevated platforms and broad avenues that run through the outer boroughs, my name is MTHW and i've finally found my way onto Steemit. Perhaps it was the entrepreneurial spirit of New York that drove my interest in the platform, or maybe it was the burgeoning sound of Blockchain & Crypto related victories, blowing a hole through the glass ceiling of the NYSE this year, but either way, Ive become fascinated with this new opportunity that exists on "The Internet 2.0".

I am a Recording Artist, I've been self-producing my own HipHop for 7 years, I am vehemently Independent and Ive sought this platform out as a means to distribute my own music freely, directly to an audience that I can engage with personally, and that I can create a sustainable and revolutionary means to more actively do what I love doing.

This is an introductory post, but I want to once again say thank you to the Steemit community for graciously hosting my content, and I look forward to further pioneering. Its time to for independent artists and creatives to protect themselves at the level of self-owned distributed music on the blockchain. Enjoy!
