Who am I? That's a damn good question. Can anyone tell me? Any psychologist out there?

My name doesn't matter, but you can call me JW. People say that you NEED to introduce yourself so people will trust you and upvote your post. I say fuck those people. I don't NEED to do anything I don't want to do. If you read my future post, you will be able to figure out my name if you most know. Below is a photo of me if you want to see what I look like:

I am a 45 year old divorced father of 3 boys. I wish I could say wonderful boys, but that is not always the case. In fact most of the time they are not wonderful. Their ages are 14, 8, and 6. I love them with all my heart, but they sure do piss me off sometimes. I also have a dog named Sheldon, he is a Shepherd, lab, and hound dog mutt that I adopted from a shelter last year. My kids said they would take care of him, but of course that doesn't happen. Sheldon is good most of the time, but still likes to chew on some things and pisses me off sometimes. What do I do? That's a good question. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and previously worked for a large manufacturing company. I was making good money, but I hated going to work everyday. My ex and I built our dream home on a lake in 2003, and in 2006 I volunteered for a buy out from the company I was at. The ex had a successful business at the time, and I needed a change. I started my own business using my 401k plan from my previous job. That business did not work out and the ex's business died when the economy took a shit in 2008. We ended up giving the house back to the bank, and started renting. Three years later we were seperated and a year later, divorced. I can honestly say I am a lot happier now, and I don't know how we stayed together for 20 years. We were complete opposites, more on that later.

Now I make most of my money buying and selling things online, including domain names. Most of what I sell is used stuff I buy at local auctions and flip on ebay. A lot of it is antique or vintage items. You can see in the background of the photo of myself is an old car door. Eventually I want to make a table out of it, but for now it just hangs on my wall. In that same photo, you can see some old pieces of wood hanging on the wall. I am making a wall out of old wood crates. Back in the day, many companies used wood crates to ship their products. When I see old crates at an auction, I will buy them if they're cheap enough. The ones that are damaged, I will take apart and hang on my wall. I just started doing this, so I only have 4 pieces hung right now. Shown below are better photos:

I watched a video recently where the lady speaking said "I get paid for being me." I thought that is the perfect description of myself. I don't always no where money is going to come from, but somehow I make enough to survive, although my ex thinks I should be paying here more.

I have never been much of a writer, although I am trying to write more. It was never something I saw a use for until recently. I would like to keep a daily journal of all my thoughts and ideas. I have written some things while I was stoned recently that I think is pretty hilarious, I may publish some of it here just to see if I'm the only one that thinks its funny.

I enjoy repurposing, creating new things out of old things. I have made tables and lights and I have plans to make a lot more things. A good deal of my time is spent with my kids, as I have 50% custody. They all play sports, so that takes up quite a bit of my time. Even when it's not my time to have them, I will still go to their games whenever possible. Baseball season is over now, but there were days when all 3 boys had games. It's impossible to see them all. There were also weeks this past baseball season that at least one of the boys had games every day of the week.

Now that baseball is over for the summer, I have been doing quite a bit of reading and watching educational videos. I try to learn at least one new thing per day, and that's part of the information I want to share here. That is why I started this blog. If I can make a little bit of extra money while keeping track of my thoughts, that's a bonus.
