My Presentation in Steemit: A new beginning

A warm greeting to all the Steemit community!

My name is Vanessa Camero, I was born in San Cristóbal, a small city of the State of Táchira, one of the coolest places in Venezuela: the mountain panoramas are paradisiacal, the people are friendly and warm, their dishes have memorable flavors.

I’m currently studying telecommunication engineering: data, networks, telephones, televisions... the technology that keeps us in touch. It is a race full of challenges, but with wonderful results. What can be of more importance in the 21st century than being able to communicate miles away or being able to store all our valuable information in a practical PC?

I feel a great passion for art, I can spend hours in museums investigating the message that the painter or photographer wants to imply; immerse myself in reading to the point of feeling the experiences of the characters as if they were my own; I love movies, nothing like a good movie, a metaphor in video, a subject that is beyond what it seems, perhaps with a touch of madness or darkness; music is my delirium, that set of instruments vibrate with each other in a harmony that triggers imagination and emotions. Being able to sing is something I've always wanted, last year I took the initiative and started learning and practicing with YouTube videos, (I want to see how far I can go!) I also like to draw, below I leave one of my works.

I have enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. I wrote children's stories as a child, I created poetry and stories in my adolescence. When I started my career I left it aside, but now I want to give me an opportunity to take it up again, to let my imagination be transformed into words, for each character to come alive, which can interpenetrate with the reader to the point of feeling identified and can find in him a relief, a confidant with the answer that he has been looking for. A world where imagination has no limits. Why rely on only real facts if there is imagination? A world where there is no beginning or end, where the snow falls on a sunny day, where the oceans are fresh water, where we walk head first and sit upside down.

I would like to make this dream come true, to be able to grow as a writer, to overcome those prisoner fears, and to be able to cope with my whole being. We all have things to give, each mind is a world and I am excited to know what they think of my works, read their constructive comments as well as read what they are able to translate into simple words. I want to give my best and see how far I can go- just jump into the abyss of possibilities.

From my posts you can expect anything, a poem, a story, a scientific article or an article of whatever, as I said, that the imagination is the one that guides me. I hope to contribute to the Steemit community with something that is worth a curious thought, a furtive emotion, a fleeting smile maybe, some people may even like and give necessary feedback.
