welcome to steemit platform, my friend note that, When you find a user you wish to follow, go to their profile page (takes the form of steemit.com/@USERNAME) and click on the FOLLOW button at top right. Or, click their username at the bottom of any blog post or comment and the same FOLLOW button pops up.
