Is consciousness eternal, or just a product of the body? Is the body just a toy we get to wear out, and then we move on, or, are we just dirt after this? As a musician, when the real magic happens, it’s as if you are spoken through, or, at least the ego steps aside, and you become the observer.
About five years ago I got serious about practicing what I will loosely call meditation. I had, after 7 years of daily use, managed to kick meth... without any help, definitely no support group, no N.A. my girlfriend, who refused to consider quitting , was talking to ghosts, and my kidneys were failing, excruciating pain. I would try to pee, and could not. I would see stars, blackout, and then wake up on the cold floor, and still could not pee. Finally, I quit, and got deeply into healing. I substituted herb, herbs, smart drugs, and every fast track desperado meditation technique I could find. One morning I got up b4 sunrise, took a microdose of lsd, and ginseng coffee with green ghee (that I made). I went up to the roof with my headphones and did several rounds of Wim Hoff style breathing exercises while staring into the sunrise, with music. This combination had become a common practice for me, and I was pushing the breathwork. Wim recommends 30 deep breaths. I had gotten up to about 150.. it gets hard to keep track.. then I would hold my breath for quite a while, and on the the inhale that day I had my first ‘kundalini’ experience. It was nothing like the warm fuzz I had imagined it might be. It was far from subtle.I have rebuilt and modified many old tube amps as a guitarist, and I have electrocuted myself a few times. That is what it felt like.. like a powerful jolt came straight up my spine. I was paralyzed, and terrified, and in my minds eye, a gold beam came from earth, through me, out of the top of my head and made an arc to the sun. I thought I was dying, or having a stroke, then this wave of emotion welled up, and I began laughing and crying simultaneously ....and then I heard a voice, as someone tapped me on the shoulder....It was not God, and I realized I was no longer alone on the roof of my girlfriends apartment building .., and they wondered if I was okay, and from that moment forward, her building mates thought, maybe not unreasonably, that I was a wing nut. I was elated, embarrassed, disoriented, and, well, interrupted. Definitely left me hanging.I have tried to get back there for years, and have had many great moments, and epiphanies, but nothing even close. That experience led me to believe that we might have a soul, and that it is, or can be, connected to what felt to me like a very electric universe.
If we do have soul that leaves the body, then if, and when all those people who are cryogenically frozen are ever revived.... ..will they be zombies?
I believe crypto and blockchains have the power to improve the quality of life around the world. Separate money from states, central banks, governments. As crypto is adopted, they will lose power. War might not be such big business..at least that’s the dream. And, admittedly, the possibility for life changing wealth, from a reasonably small investment, is attractive. Nine years ago, a friend recommended that I buy Bitcoin. I think It was 3 cents. I tried to wrap my head around what it was, how it worked, and how it was valuable, but I gave up at the part that required my credit card. If I had invested $3.00 then, and hodl’d, I would now be a millionaire, or maybe just have lost my $3 to Mt Gox. Three years ago I rediscovered it.I hope the growth will continue. I have been buying the dips.
I make a crazy ginseng mushroom butter coffee drink. Into keto, wild mushrooms, foraging for clean food. My dog is on a mostly raw carnivore diet...makes sense to me. Wolves don’t raid ranches and steal the gmo corn. They don’t cook or can their food either. There’s less and less food that I trust for myself or my dog in the apparent abundance of the modern American market.
9/11 really changed my perspective. To me, it seems so obvious that the official story is propaganda. Knowing that, I question everything ..... I think the history of the world I was taught is all wrong....maybe Tesla’s dream of free electricity for all is real, and possible, and withheld. However, the Earth is definitely round....If you don’t entertain at least a few ‘conspiracy theories’, you’re either brainwashed, or you just have not looked, in my opinion.
My dog Cooper, and I, live well in an an RV. We stay mostly around the Bay Area. I take a lot of pictures of him, and our adventures.... these are all taken with an iPhone 6...![E5C2CEF3-EC81-4608-87A4-F3A71C3600A1.jpeg]n()found these near the horse stables in Daly City. They are called Shaggy Parasols. Butter, garlic, they taste like steak. I ate all of those, and lived. Have been studying wild fungi for a few years. Be very careful. I find these growing in parks all over sf. They are mushrooms, and apparently they are edible, however, they are full of sap that attracts flys, who then spread their spores...I have not eaten these. Proof that fungi are aliens?
