Good to hear I'm not the only one! :P Haven't bought much physical this year since I've been living abroad. Norway has a tax/VAT exemption on silver coins. The rest of Europe has to pay full VAT. Therefore, I've bought more into cryptos. :)

Hi, yes Norway and Estonia are VAT free for silver. Also Germany and Netherlands have a scheme whereby non-EU silver has almost zero tax. I wrote about it here a couple years ago on my website, http://preciousmetaltax.com/how-to-avoid-vat-on-silver-coins/
