My warm poetic promises to You, Steemit

in introduceyourself •  7 years ago  (edited)

Greetings, community <3

I'm very glad to be part of You.

As a form of salutation, I would love to share a small poem with You.

Just before that here are few bits about myself. Nowadays you would mostly find me working with visual arts and/or writing. However, a few years ago I was making my ways around the electronic music scene, both experimental and dance, playing various venues and clubs around Europe. At some point I would love to share some sounds with You. This is my promise 1.
In addition to that, well, I was always a keen reader of politics, philosophy, economics, as well as papers on machine learning and AI. I see this pond of knowledge gathered as potentially the most valuable sharing material with which I could contribute to the community right now, well, besides poetry which is very much my love. So, let me know in the comments or follow me if you would like to at some point get my socio-politically inclined critical reflections on emerging economies and crypto space. So, this is promise number 2.

And now, my tiny poem for You, it is a playful take on economy, marginalization, the unvoiced, inspired by so called 'Martinique intellectuals', who were amazing poets, thinkers, philosophers and even politicians: Fanon, Cesaire, Glissant.

The poem has no name, thus:

Untitled

all inhabit different wounds

casually thrifting off the market womb

u know, everything around runs cash

alien, landed on the mesh

conspicuous consumption of the bloody gems

labor locked fills global village veins

ever wondered how much blood was spilth over your existence?

‘sapphires in the mud’

technically it’s guilt tripping,

                               glut

have you experienced foreign memories?

street smart learning the voices of history

‘who needs nostalgia?’

dream the alternative

festive collective delirium.

tech bubble flopping,

crypto silt flipping.

enacted through money

inapt social memory, subsist

wealth of the throng

memo belong to the strong

amnesiac retention of global subscription

voluntary mad intimidation

colonize your grandma’s garden

colonize the Mars

colonize poems handful of fears,

shadow fear spread

under rock red

nail the rules of time-travel

not yet now surreal of parallel

colonize tomorrow

colonize disorder

forgotten wars

rotting food on the shelves of the supermarket

if anything, decision-making is the seed

with invisible speed

encrypt thus the reign of stealth violence

contrarian time marvel to disaffirm the power

contrarian disturbance as a perfect model for time navel

brownian motion of consensus

coughing mass voice with juridical flavor

i pity their fate

you know, i’ve read an essay on a salve trade

learned the songs of motley crew

chanted in choir of few

asked profound questions

what sounds the violence, scars the bleak?

which vice of the fear,

flops voice of the weak?

hear the moans on the battlefield

history voiced by the muscle of

strong throats, banging head to head

the rest (disenfranchised), written off

as mucous, growth of mud

reign by the stealth

flesh of the soil

screams voicing brutal murder

indigenous forms of subsistence

signals original sin

regain hopelessly profound relation

generation of first teenagers

displaced and rotten crops

across the land

all inhabit sacred wounds
