Hello Steemit!

Hi I'm Old Jobobo, and I am excited to begin my Steemit journey with you all.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist by trade and artist by hobby. Prior to massage I was in IT Desktop Support for about 17 years. I got into IT right out of High School and worked my way up from Tier 1 Technical Support to System Administrator / Network Engineer over the course of 17 years. I got laid off from the last IT job I had in 2008 when the economy took a nose dive. I then spent about 2 years unemployed and taught myself how to draw and paint (traditionally and digitally).

Then I met my now Wife and we got married. One day she asked if I had ever thought about massage as a career. I actually had thought about it as an option but had hesitated as I had heard it was very difficult for males to succeed in massage as a career. I looked into it some more and within a week I was in school and learning a new trade.

My Wife and I live in Washington State with our Dog Strider and our 3 cats. I started learning more about crypto a few months ago and have become practically obsessed with it. Mainly as a possible means of restoring and finding financial security and freedom in my life. I am here on Steemit as part of this journey and I look forward to sharing my progress with you all and whatever else I discover that might be of value to the community.

I really love what I see going on here on Steemit and hope I get to know and meet many more of you along the way.
