Hi Steemit!

This is an intro post for our band and a proposition:

If you guys get behind us, we'll be the first band ever to launch on Steemit! You guys will have a claim on us forever haha.

Our name is Observer Effect and we are an original rock/folk-rock band from Brisbane, Australia.

We've been building our presence online since we first formed years back (yeah, bands take that long).

However... we've never released a song.

We've been purely building buzz (we now have thousands of followers across the other social networks).

And in case the reapers didn't convince you, we'll beg too (imagine puss in boots doing the eyes thing):

"Please get behind us, we're a three-piece indie band trying to self-fund our first album and we need your HELP!"

Our influences are: 

The Beatles (but who isn't?), early Coldplay & Radiohead, Mumford & Sons, Leonard Cohen (lyrically... or at least that's what we tell ourselves), John Mayer and Oasis + too many others to list.

We are: 

Oliver Braithwaite (@oliverb) - Songwriter, all vocals, rhythm guitar, keys, sequencing & coffee maker.

Moin Silva - Lead guitar & band stylist.

Mark Davies - Upright bass, bass guitar, bass drum & bass fisherman.
