Hi Steemit! I'm Olympia!

Hi Steemit! My name is Olympia and I'm born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am half Korean and half Filipino. The only time I lived outside of Los Angeles is when I first started my career as a flight attendant. Eight years ago, I packed up my bags and moved to Chicago to have the opportunity to travel the world. It took one Chicago winter for me to put a transfer back to Los Angeles. The cold is NOT for me! Having this job gave me the opportunity to see lots of cool places and meet amazing people.

I've been at American Airlines for the last 4 years. Its the biggest airline in the world and has the most international destinations. It doesn't matter what country I am in, I am always taking in the scenery and eating the local fare. My guilty pleasure is dessert. My family calls me a hummingbird because most of my meals involve sugar. Probably half of my daily meals involve desserts. Its a problem. It is so good though..YUM!

I first saw this dessert on social media from a New York restaurant and knew I had to have it. I was scheduled a London trip first, did a little digging, and found a restaurant that had it. I was not disappointed.

I live in the heart of LA. They don't call it Hollywood Tinseltown and Los Angeles LaLa Land for no reason. My front door faces a tunnel where a million memorable movie scenes have been shot. Here is the short clip from Men in Black that everyone remembers.
