Hello Steemit! Game Addict Finally Finds Passion For Blogging - Check On Me Guys

HI STEEMIT!!!

Pretty glad to be here and finally here's my INTRODUCTION POST which happens to be my first post.

I am Omotola George, a fashion designer and stylist living in Lagos, Nigeria. I happened to come across this amazing platform through a male friend of mine - @teekingtv who made it his priority for weeks now that I eventually join this platform. I'm currently studying Art at the University of Lagos, Lagos - Nigeria and that is where me and @teekingtv came to know each other. I'm finally here now and I must confess it's my honor. I'm loving everything I've been reading here since I joined few days ago. Steemit is unbelievable.

For this reasons below, Steemit is from another planet and it's why I'm here

• I'm enjoying reading original fashion related posts

I've been spying on this platform for weeks now. After @teekingtv introduced Steemit to me, I checked out on this community. He showed me how to get posts through tags and that was what I first did. Going into the Fashion tag, I saw lots of interesting posts. That particular tag alongside some others have been keeping me busy and I'm getting used to reading posts from the tag every moment. I love to refresh to see the pages to see the new posts that are just coming in. he posts I've been reading are awesome. Their originality could be felt at a glance. That's totally awesome to begin with.

• I'm finally being freed from being addicted to mobile games.
  I was one die-hard mobile game lover. Even though I knew it made me lose focus at work and school, I was totally into playing games on my mobile. I couldn't control it. But just spending few days here on Steemit made me realise there are better things I can do with my time and I finally lost my passion for mobile games. that's another great thing.

• Socializing with different people from different parts of the world.
  I actually happen to be a very social being. I love to use the social media. Steemit however made me realise I don't need to be staring at people's pictures on Instagram of just looking at people's post on my facebook feed before I canm interact with people. Here on this platform, I've made few friends already. Starting from @teekingtv, @abdulkelly, @branx, @yousuph24, @captain-tom, @poetmichaelace etc, I've met lots of new great minds and I'm enjoying it. Thanks to Steemit.

• Rewards here are unimaginable
  Ok, I thought its only on Fiverr that I can get some dollars through writing but Steemit style of rewarding good contents is from another planet entirely. There's nothing like this platform. part from what @teekingtv told me, I've seen lots of posts that got pretty much Dollars here already. It's unbelievable. I can't wait to start posting about my work as a fashion designer.

That's one hell famous quote that does come outta my mouth so often. Aside being a fashion designer by profession, I just have this crazy love for fabrics. You know, I've got a hell passion for sitting on sewing machine everyday, create some designs of myself and many more. Ok, lemme brag. Check some of my works below. I'm grateful to @teekingtv for being so patient with me. I must confess he did a lot to ensure I joined this community, and now I'm finally coming here. I hope I'm welcomed.
