I have something you should investigate. Find out everything you can about who/what changed the way silicon wafer devices were manufactured in the late 1970s that made them so cheap now. Then I will fill in the gaps for you.

I'm interested.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wafer_(electronics)?

Nice link, but no mention of who changed what in 1978 that made electronics so much cheaper.
Keep digging.
Clue - involved molten doped (with arsenic) silicon

I was looking for confirmation that the wiki entry was the correct subject matter. I'll see what I am able to find when I get a chance.
Curious. It sounds like you know the answer already. Do you have a closed source and are just wanting already public proof? Or is there something that is still unknown to you?

What is unknown to me is exactly how far they have gone to hide truths. Like, who was it that made your electronics so cheap?
