Welcome to the Other Side Of Me.

I am from a beautiful place in the world called South Africa. I love almost everything about our country, I love the summer heat, I love the Western Cape's wine route, I am a total sucker for the bush field and the absolute peacefulness one experience around a bonfire sipping on some Disaranno. We have some of the most beautiful places down here & some I yet have to visit.

The first & most important thing you need to know about me is that I LOVE horses. I have been riding since I was five years old. This is definitely the one thing in my live that has deteriorated & that I need to work on again as they are my absolute passion.

The second most important thing you need to know about me is that I am a wife & a mom. Boy has this been a roller coaster ride. I am in love with being a mom, being a wife on the other hand haven't been the best experience for me yet. I have recently decided that my mission in life at this point is to focus on myself & my daughter. To be a good inspiration & example for my daughter to follow, & to start giving more attention to my current friendships & hoping to build more amazing friendships along the way. (I Think this will be the topic of my first post)

Lastly these things are the things that is original to me. I Love tropical beach holidays, sipping on coconut milk underneath a palm tree. I am an absolute adventurer, I love experiencing new places & new things. I enjoy doing things that gets my adrenaline pumping like jumping off a bridge, snorkeling the tropical reefs, diving with wale sharks, mountain biking a beautiful scenery or even hiking up a mountain. Most of all riding a horse on the beach.

I hate the coprate life & rush hour traffic. I really struggle to be a routine like person & politics make me sick. I do in some way enjoy the city life, as there are lots to do on weekends with a big variety.

Anyway I feel that I have splashed out a lot of things about me at this point & that you might be sick of reading this boring old post.

So I'll end of with this, I have a mission for myself, my daughter and my life & I am determined to succeed and achieve greatness.

    Hello other-side-of-me! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
