Hello everyone, my name is Patrick Henry Hughes. I am 38 years old. I am six foot 2 inches tall and have an athletic build. I am handsome and friendly. I have a bachelor's degree from The University of North Texas in History, and I love to write and read. Currently I am reading three different books.
I write primarily poetry, but also enjoy writing the occasional fiction story. I love the outdoors as well. I like to go looking for crystals that grow naturally in mineral deposits around the North Texas area.
I am a direct descendant of the great American statesman Patrick Henry. My mother made me his namesake, and he was my sixth great grandfather. Patrick Henry was famous for saying, "Give me liberty, or give me death!"
I will be sharing some of my poetry with you all, and I will journal about life here in North Texas. I will also provide bits of history into my blogs, so you folks and have a small window into life here in the United States. I am excited to be here and look forward to getting to know you!
