Handsome Sam the day after Christmas on a mountain in MaineI'm lucky enough to have a job doing something that I love in some amazingly beautiful places. I'm getting into photography hoping to chronicle my journey and capture some of that beauty.

I haven't spent nearly enough time on it but I'm hoping to go crazy this summer. with all the guiding I'm going to be doing there will be plenty of opertunity to capture more wild moments. I'm planing on getting a 300 lens this spring, hopefully that will expand what I can do.

Banff Is ABSOLUTLEY on my bucket list. Virgina looks prettier than I thought.

Banff is incredible! If you get a chance to go just do it. Virginia is also beautiful but in a different way. Banff is grand and extravagant beauty, where as verginia is just rugged and dirty in its loveliness. Virginia is more about the small things that you take notice of when there aren't massive peaks screaming for attention.
