What's Your Steemit Success Story So Far?

I thought it would motivating if we all shared our successes on Steemit so far, no matter how big or small.

My Small Success Story Thus Far

So far, I've been consistently posting for 9 days straight. In that time I've gained nearly 100 followers and I've earned close to $10 on my posts. Not too bad considering it hasn't even been 10 days yet! The best part is I get to actually write ( something I've always had an interest in doing ) about things that I actually enjoy writing about.

Goals Going Forward

My first goal with Steemit is to be able to make enough earnings to cover something small from my posts every day. For example, being able to cover my lunch or a beer would be a great positive feedback loop that would definitely encourage me to try even harder on this platform.

What's Your Success Story So Far?

I'd love to hear your success story on Steemit, no matter how big or small it may be! Please share in the comments down below :) And if you have any goals, it'd be awesome to hear those as well. If any experienced users would like to chime in as well and give some tips on being successful long term, that'd be great!

Hi phil917!

I noticed you have posted many times since you began your journey on Steemit. That is great! We love active partipants.

I do want to point out that the Introduceyourself tag is meant to be used once only to introduce yourself to the Steemit community. Please see this link for more information Tag Spam?

Please take this into consideration and help build a great platform!

Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware posting in introduceyourself more than once is considered tag spam.

To clarify, this post isn't really an introduction, it was more meant to be a motivational post for brand new users. To show that you can make some earnings and get followers in a relatively short period of time.

I think in the future, for any big milestones I have, ( reaching a certain level of earnings per post, reaching 1000 followers, etc... ) I still may post in introduceyourself as a way to motivate new users and provide some tips on how I got there.

If I was just posting, "hey im new here" every day, then yea I'd totally agree that's abuse of this tag.

It is really up to you and the community to judge this. One of the most often cited responses is that is really should only be used once (perhaps twice in a different language). This way, all members can scan though this to welcome users without ANY other post.

You be the judge. I can tell you though If one of the big players gets thinking a tag is abused they downvote in a hurry.

Much success!

Gotcha, thanks for the insight. I'll try to keep it to only big milestones in that case!

Good luck reaching your goal. My great success was when one of my posts reached close to $40, Id like to do that more often.

Thanks for chiming in! Honestly you kinda seem like you’re having great results considering you just started in October.

I’d be pretty happy if I was seeing numbers like that in a few months.

Wow I'd love to have my posts reach that too. Ah to be a minnow.

Thanks for suggestion

Thanks for sharing. I hope to get enough Steem to create a income stream so I don't have to work full time. So my mid-short term goal is to accumulate SP. I bought most of my SP and have delegated it for a daily payout to @jerrybanfield, making me about 1sbd daily.
I made some SBD on my photos, manual curating is not really worth my time ( as a source of income).
I recently started using steemfollower, have to see how that works out.
Really excited about the coming year!
steem on!

Cool, I'm using Steemfollower myself and have definitely seem a boost in upvotes and earnings since then. It's hard for me to tell how much of that is from my own follower growth or due to Steemfollower.

Oh my success story so far is winning in 2 contests here in Steemit. One is for ranting and another is for my art. Lol.

Nice lol. I haven't looked into contests at all yet.
