Hi there, I'm Jake (better known as Pipe Guy to some). I am a musician from Adelaide, South Australia and I'm 28. I started playing a homemade PVC pipe instrument in 2012 and went viral with a video on youtube in 2014. You may have seen it:

Since then i have travelled far around the world performing in such countries as Germany, Spain, Turkey, Malaysia, UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi).

Anyways, I plan on using Steemit as a blog. I like the format and am even thinking doing a back catalogue at some point. Possibly some tutorials on DIY instruments if thats something that people want. Maybe the odd vlog? Comment and let me know what you would like to see.

Dope. Edit post with tag #teamaustralia now for exposure and check out how to join here - dol payments on each post if approved by DHS @centerlink.

That sounds like prototype Hardstyle before it started borrowing heavily from Dutch Hardcore ... awww shiiiit you even get the psy bass going later on ... I repeat #DOPE

Edit: That breakdown just after the 3 minute mark where you go into 7 Nation Army ... #HUGE

Edit: Too damn good, had to resteem. How you got some PVC sounding like a fat AF Virus pluck is beyond me.

Thanks buddy. That video is old. Check out my live stream from today for brand new content

No worries, will have a look. Have two Steemit posts, 2 freelance articles and a bunch of replies to get through, but I will get there!

This is so good. Welcome aboard man!

Do you still pull the double pluggers out when you're performing in a club haha?

All i ever use

Hi and a warm welcome. Enjoyed watching you playing music. Hope to learn more about your life as a street performer. I am sure you have fans and at Steemit we have followers. This is how you can attract more followers.

Thankyou

You are welcome.

Yeeehaaa, just watching your video and it is totally awesome. I have never seen such a thing. But you rock it and no doubt this video went viral. Congrats, I am very happy for you. And also for myself that I found this. Best thing I have seen on Steemit today and I have seen a lot of cool things today.

I totally want to see you at some Steemit festival in Costa Rica. A bit of pipe-music, a bit of jungle and a bit of Ayahuasca. LOL.

When I arrived on Steemit a few weeks ago I was very confused how this all works. I read through hundreds of articles about the dynamics of Steemit and finally wrote this The Ultimate Guide for Steemit Beginners: Money, Posts, Design, Topics, Bots, Behaviour, Community and Apps. I wrote it for YOU. Normally I wouldn't post my links into others comments unasked. But the massive positive feedback from my readers made it my mission to help newcomers finding this post quickly. Feel free to ask any questions. I will try to answer them all. I apologize if you are not interested in this and I will not further disturb you.

Welcome to steemit community...

What a wonderfully written intro you got here.

Do read my below recipes to have a successful steemit experience.

RECIPES FOR SUCCESS

  • Be yourself, originality matters a lot. Write and submit quality content at least three times weekly.

  • You can get into arguments but without being disrespectful to people to avoid down votes

  • upvote and follow posts that interest you...as well as people who upvote and follow you. Reciprocity matters. However, be careful not to exceed 20 upvotes per day as doing that will begin to deplete ur steem power. This is important.

  • spend sometime to comment on other people's posts daily.

  • Give quality feedback to peoples comments.

Observe this rules and success will follow you. Wishing you best of luck in your steemit activities.

Welcome to Steemit! You nailed your introductory post! I know that I wrote about you along time ago either on Steemit or some other site. Welcome to the community and am looking forward to reading your personal posts and adventures.
