I am Praise Joy L. Cabural, born and raised in Labason, Zamboanga del Norte in the beautiful country of the Philippines.

As a short background of myself, I actually dreamed of becoming a mechanical engineer, however, destiny brought me elsewhere. I am now currently in the metallurgical engineering program of the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute, and I have the view of becoming a significant person in this field. We can say that I fell in love with my degree at second sight.

Furthermore, the following are six additional facts about who I am:

First, I am the third among five siblings. They are named Journey, Mercy Grace, Preach Boy, and El Real. Based on our names, you can tell that we are a Christian family, and our names actually originate from our parents' life story--they were on a Journey, found Mercy and Grace, which led them to Praise with Joy, and it led made my father a Preacher proving that God (El) is Real.

Second, I am a sports enthusiast; I know how to play a number of sports except for those that have not yet been introduced to me. I like volleyball, basketball, badminton, swimming, and chess to name a few. However, I can definitely say that I have a bias and love for table tennis.

Third, life and environment has trained and molded me to somehow know how love works--I am a self-declared love advice expert. This came into being through my friends' and older sister's lives, and I am excited to share this to all of you soon.

Fourth, I am an avid graphic fan, and I love watching 3D movies and other forms of multimedia that showcase the fast-track technology today. I also love seeing all kinds of art on colorful walls and other canvasses, and I am constantly learning how all these are done. Therefore, I am looking forward for more inpute regarding graphics in this community. I am excited for all of us to learn together.

Fifth, as a person who likes to go beyond borders, you can say that I am an adrenaline junkie. Challenges make my heartbeat go fast and I like experiencing these new things and extraordinary adventures.

Lastly, throughout my scholastic endeavors from primary school up until now, I am continually blessed to be supported by numerous scholarships. Had I not been given these privileges, I would not be where I am right now. I am very much honored and grateful for all the support that have been given to me.
